Big X1/9 fan!!
Very nice book! If you own or planning to own, you may not miss it!!

Wow! This book is the X1/9 Bible!
If looks can be deceiving, this book certainly characterizes that concept. Beneath its humble glossy cover (reminds me of a high school textbook) is everything you've EVER wanted to know about one of the best little targa-tops every created. This book includes a complete history of the X1/9, good (though limited) information on maintenance and repair, and lists of clubs and parts suppliers. It is thoroughly well-written and as far as I'm concerned, sets the standard for all the Fiat books out there. If you own, plan to own or even like to look at the Fiat/Bertone X1/9, you owe it to yourself to get this book!

For you who are REALY dedicated to abarth cars
This book is one of the hardest to get trough in auto litterature history! It's kind of a scrap book about Karl Abarth's life and his work. The main subjects in the book is the Fiat 600 and 850 series based Abarth cars. All this is viewed from Al Cosentinos angle and his experience of the cars and the way he raced them in the US. If you are a real "live and die for" Abarth enthusiast, this is a book for you, otherwise try another book.

Cosentino's unique work
Al Cosentino's writtings are hard on the eyes, if you can read past his political biases, you'll learn a great amount on the real, behind-the-scenes stories about the cars and Carlo Abarth himself. Good history pieces.

Fiat 500 the best economical car in the world
Fiat 500

For many, just another microcar for others the best italian car of this century. First of all let can you imagine that almost 3.000.000 of these cars were built during the 50/60 decades.

In my opinion this book gives a very good overall overview of what are the 500 and 600. There are good pictures and ilustrations. I definetily consider this book as a basic book to buy or restore a 500

The only thing missing is more detail on the special versions that were made by abarth and giannini

Best regards

Interesting for the Fiat beginner....
Mainly, this is a picture book with some very limited text, most of which if you are into Fiat 500's or 600's, you already know. Good for a beginner, nice for the coffee table.
