Longaberger lovers dream
This book is absolutely wonderful. It has very nice pictures of the baskets and is very helpful when you are just starting to collect baskets. My only gripe is there are a FEW (a SMALL few) they do not have pictures of. It is a wonderful tool for anyone who loves Longaberger. Very helpful for ebay, etc.

Bentley guide is a must-have for consultants and collectors!
I can't be without my Bentley Guide! I am a consultant and I bring it to every show to show my customers how much their investment in Longaberger baskets will grow over the years! It also has allowed me to see older baskets that I wanted and was able to track down on Ebay! LOVE IT!!

Comprehensive history of Bentley co & cars. Focus on racing
This is a most comprehensive history of Bentley, the company and the cars. Unique here are the insights into the inner workings of the company provided by the author's extensive research.

The focus is on racing, which was the lifeblood of Bentley. Business and financial details, engineering, design and marketing are also extensively covered.

The book is profusely illustrated with original black and white photos, engineering drawings, blueprints, cutaways and racing scenes. There is also a beautiful section of color plates.

For the Bentley enthusiast this book is an essential. The organization is superb and the depth of coverage is excellent. It is a true delight.

Bentley Factory Cars 1919-1931
This is it. If you are researching a prewar Bentley, you must have this one. It lists all chassis numbers and first owners. Many very good photos.

A fascinating reference and one of great enjoyment.
I can't remember the last time I read such an interesting little nonfiction book. I found it, quite by accident, in the juvenile section of my local library while researching material for an historical fiction novel. In doing so, I am developing a new appreciation of the humor and "true grit" of 19th century women. What a great little find! A real treasure trove of information.

Pacific Northwest's pioneer women are introduced well
When I took a Pacific Northwest History class at a Seattle community college with Judy Bentley (the author) I was fascinated by her excellent teaching style; now, if you or your kids want a quick introduction to the history of the Oregon Country from a feminine perspective, this is the book you should read! This book of Judy's contains many nice maps, photos and charts as well as an easy-to-read, well-organized writings. Many public libraries in the Northwest have this book in their collection -- for a good reason. This is not only for children, but also for adults who are interested in the history of the Northwest. This is definitely on my "recommended readings" list on this subject.

Complete Official Jaguar 'E' Comprising the Official

The best book available on the subject
I haven't found a better book to lead one through the intricacies of this elegant machine. Even the non-mechanic E-type owner should have this book as a reference, and it would be a wise investment for those thinking of buying one of the world's finest automobiles

A "must have" service reference on the E-Type.<BR>
This is a collection of reprints of the original Jaguar service manuals for the Series 1 and Series 2 E-Type. It also includes a reprint of the original owners handbook as well as a section on modifying your E-Type for what would now be considered vintage racing. This is the only service manual you will need to maintain these vintage models. It does not have the nuts and bolts details that you might want if your were restoring an E-Type but nontheless it is a must have if you own one of these cars

Perfect for the beginner
I loved this book. I knew very little about the stock market and was interested in day trading. This book was perfect. It covered it all. In addition, it recommended other books and websites on the topics as you went along. I borrowed it from the library, then decided I had to buy it as a reference.

Great Book
As the title indicates, this book is for the total beginner. The author takes the reader by the hand and guides him / her through the complex world of online day trading. All of the major areas of concern are covered: Everything from what is day trading and opening your online account to strategies and techniques used to gain profits. This book provides a great bird's-eye-view, kind of a road map for the long journey ahead. This book is not intended to cover every area of day trading with an exhaustive explanation, but rather, introduce each subject and point the reader in the right direction for further study. I strongly recommend this book. Happy trading.

More than a Massage
Don't let the title mislead you. This book delivers much more than the title indicates. Along with lovely head, neck & shoulder massage routines there are simple but beautiful visualizations that can help you achieve calm & serenity. By the end of the self care routine I feel energized, centered & relaxed as melting butter.

In the self care, face sequence, step 8 may just be the best facial muscle toning routine I have seen. You will NOT make new wrinkles with this gentle but challenging tense & release routine.

The more I practice the techniques and routines the more I appreciate this book.

Bubbles Book Review
I thought this book was creative and well worth the time taken out of your day to read.

Inner Speed Secrets
Race car drivers can be, and must be continually developed beyond the capabilities of their car. Inner Speed Secrets clearly explains the mental engineering of today's winning drivers. If you are serious about your racing---this book is a must. Don Kitch Jr. Chief Instructor ProFormance Racing School Seattle International Raceway

Secrets unlocked
What a revelation! We have been told for years that our mind harnesses the power to overcome all. In Ross and Ronn's book, these principles are succinctly laid out with techniques and exercises directly related to race driving. I recognized many situations in my own racing and have used their exercises to improve my performance and confidence on the race track. This book is a must read for anyone in racing (or in life)who wants to ensure consistency. For those who think racing is all guts - you are missing the boat (or shall I say the checkered flag) by not reading this book! PS - They also have a wonderful seminar too!

Simply the best
Bedrock. Take all the books you want about the novel, the theater, film, and the whole of literary criticism, none of them speak more accurate or truer things about storytelling than this book. I can't believe it isn't a classic and used in universities throughout the country as a standard reference.

If you read one book on drama, this is the one to read.
Discusses characteristics of the various genres of drama, such a tragedy, farce, satire, etc.

Most Beautiful, Indeed.
Speaking as a native New Englander, I feel like I've seen enough terrific-looking towns that I can appreciate a really beautiful village. The ones photographed in this book are spectacular. This really is a great coffee table book. The colors in the photos just draw the eye in. It's hard to describe... You will see a whole village of ancient stone buildings, with rock walls in a sort of dusky brown, and suddenly, off to the side, a brightly colored painted boat. Or maybe just a little flower garden, with lots of little Manet-esque red blossoms. And the architecture, or course, is uniformly, yet diversely, amazing. Roman, medieval, and (slightly) more modern, it all just fits together so beautifully. Furthermore, the whole book is full of cool little articles talking about historically interesting tidbits of history, legend, etc. from the region.

Also -- if anyone who enjoys this book has reading ability in French, I'd like to recommend "La Langue Gauloise", by P.Y. Lambert. It talks about the original language of France, "Gaulish", an early Celtic tongue, from before the days of Caesar and friends. I think that one of the intriguing things about Brittany is that this original, pre-Romance-languages tongue of the region was largely reinstated, in the 5th and 6th centuries A.D., by Celtic-speaking refugees when Britain was being overrun by the Germanic-speaking Angles and Saxons. I think it's interesting to look at the place names in Brittany, and try to learn whether they were named back in prehistoric times, or in the era since the 5th and 6th century. This is the kind of question that this book raises -- the concatenated sense of sedimentary century laid upon century, laid upon century, is absolutely enthralling.

The Most Beautiful Villages of Brittany
This book is one in a series of "The Most Beautiful Villages of...". Although they all have different authors the photography is exceptional. The book concentrates on four areas and the villages that make up each area. There is a short history of each region as well as interesting information on the villages and captions on the photos. In my opinion it is the photographs that give this book five stars. It is a wonderful "coffee table" book to own.
