It gave detailed and very comprehensive information, with lots of photos and drawings to guide me through every step of maintenance, repair, or overhaul. A shop manual is a reference. You want to be able to find information fast. This Clymer book, is designed with such use in mind!

At first, i'd like to thank the opportunity to send this review. I'm a chevy lover and I'd like to change informations or to know publications about chevy & gmc 55-57 pick-ups, panels, suburbans, fleetsides, cameos, also N.A.P.C.O. 4x4 transformed models. Here in Brazil has few units of this cars and we try to restore it reading USA publications and buying USA original parts because we don't have a big size market to justify production of it here. So, books like this are helpful to collectors like me to conserve and restore this cars.

This book is the "bible" for V8 into S-10 swaps..
every detail is covered from engine selection to speedometer calibration..

After my son blew the timing chain on his 94 Z24, I found this book to be very insightful in it's repair.

This is a very helpful, detailed source of information. However, there appears to be an error in the ring gap location as illustrated on page 3-71, in figure 175. Both diagrams are identical. This could be accurate, but if so, why is it necessary to have two diagrams? Number 85773125 appears in the figure, which might be helpful to you in locating the figure in question. Is the figure correct, or incorrect? Shouldn't one diagram be a mirror image of the other?

I have a Cadillac Cimarron and it does not run the way it used to. I have been working on it for two years and it still does not run. I think this book will be a big help.!!!!!!

Bought this book to spruce up the ole Blazer, running better than ever now. Take a few dollars out of your wallet and buy this book.

Being the only restoration guide based on materials from the Chevrolet archives, it is one of the most essential parts identification references available. Information and original part numbers on nearly everything from the wheels to the water pump are explained via well-written text, schematic diagrams, and photographs in 17 chapters (over 300 pages). Vehicle identification and firewall tags are also covered. Engine codes for six engine sizes are thoroughly covered, including the rare 262ci. There are only three complaints concerning the book: the photographs are all black and white, some of the diagrams are rather difficult to read, and paint codes are not covered when the ID codes are explained. However, this restoration guide is a must-have for the serious classic Chevrolet collector.

I work in a full line GM dealership and we have a copy of this and it's worn out from using as help to find parts and to see who's got what for sale when all they can tell you is a casting or part number. This guy did tons of homework on this book BEFORE he printed one.

This book contained the most complete collection of part numbers I have ever seen. Well organized and easy to understand. It will help you identify part numbers, date codes, VIN information, and much more. Well worth the price.
