Apparent ERROR on page 3-71, Figure 175, ring gap lacation.This is a very helpful, detailed source of information. However, there appears to be an error in the ring gap location as illustrated on page 3-71, in figure 175. Both diagrams are identical. This could be accurate, but if so, why is it necessary to have two diagrams? Number 85773125 appears in the figure, which might be helpful to you in locating the figure in question. Is the figure correct, or incorrect? Shouldn't one diagram be a mirror image of the other?

Perfect for the do-it-yourself mechanic!I used this book to dismantle and reassmble the heads from my 1988 S-10 Blazer. This was my first time ever doing anything more than a basic oil change (the book is good for that too). Want to learn about your vehicle? Buy a Chilton manual.

Very InformativeThis book has been very informative as to keeping my 1987 Celebrity well-maintained. My car now has over 150,000 miles, and it is still running in great shape. The photos and the instructions are respectively very detailed and clear and simple to understand. I would reccommend this book to anyone who wished to get at least ten thousand more miles out of their car for little effort at keeping it maintained.
