James Lucas is one of my favorite authors of World War II. His specialty is the German Army. Although Mr Lucas fought agaisnt the Germans in the Big One, he is totally objective about the war when it comes to writng about its history which, is a welcome relief. This book relates all possible information you could want on the German Airborne: their weapons, tactics, leaders and especially their battles. The chapter on Monte Cassino is absolutely brilliant. Lucas lets the paratroopers themselves tell their stories which allows the reader to experience what it must have been like from their POV. Many unknown battles are brought to light, like the German airborne assault on the Greek island of Lesbos. A small unit action that I had never heard of before. Great book!

This magical escape into a past, unfortunately lost world improves on re-reading. The author makes the India days of the raj into a nostalgic compelling read for the people who did not have the privlege of living in those lost times. She breathes life into that country, so much so that one longs to visit India and see themselves that other world - although no longer there.

I love this book. I think the Eagles totally rule! This book tells me A LOT about the electric Eagles! This book is like an infomercial about the Eagles! This book rules!

This book gives not only great comfort to the bereaved, as well as the dying but also give knowledge of what happens to our spirit after leaving the body. Everything in this book rings true. This information was channeled and I do believe it comes from the heavens to help us on earth.

JOHN ESTEN COOK DOES A MASTERFUL JOB OF UNITING HISTORY AND FICTION. ALL HISTORICAL FACTS ARE INDICATED AND THE FICTION PART FITS IN VERY WELL WITH THE ACTUAL EVENTS OF THAT TIME. I HAVE READ MOST OF JOHN ESTEN COOKS BOOKS AND I BELIEVE THIS TO BE THE BEST.

Systems architecting has been shown in two earlier books not only to exist but to be key to successful systems and product lines. Fellow executives asked for a comparable book addressing organizations as systems, which they clearly are, and especially for applicable insights for dealing with the nonquantifiable issues confronting both executives and professionals in a drastically changed international and technological world. Good organizations were failing, disappearing, being merged, consolidating or expanding, succeeding or failing -- for reasons they couldn't fathom. The book shows what,why, how, and when, folowed by insights on how to deal with them. It represents the technical management experience of seven, now retired, chief executives representing 15 major organizations, public and private, military and commercial. To the author's, publisher's and associates' knowledge it is as unprecedented as the dilemmas now faced by executives and professionals today.

The Tales of Tiddly is about a small yellow cat who is all alone in this world. Mr. Bones who is also a cat finds
him and takes him home with him. Mr. Bones lives with a dog named Uncle Meezo. They are both very nice to
Tiddly and they both love him alot. But one day no one has any time for Tiddly so he has to go play by himself
and he ends up having a really great time. Tiddly comes home one day and Mr. Bones and Uncle Meezo had a
surpise for him. You will have to read the book though to figure out what it is. This book is great for any ages! Its
funny and it teaches children manners. Have Fun Reading!

In this very readable historiacl survey of U.S.-Latin American realations, Smith develops a template which demonstrates the logic of U.S. policy and Latin American response within the context of the global situation. To accomplish this, he breaks history into three general time periods: 1790s-Cold War, The Cold War, and the post-Cold War. In each of these periods, Smith develops the global context or "rules of the game", then moves on to the resulting U.S. policy. He finishes each historical era with an incisive analysis of Latin American options for response. This book is a must for students of Latin America and certainly for those individuals whose activities, whether they be commercial or official in nature, are shaping the book's next chapter.

I have read these three books and have found them to be a great look into the Roman Era. Sutcliff presents the scenes beautifully and captures the hearts of readers young( my age, 12) to older people. The books are only slightly related to each other and a few themes are recurring creating a familiar feel to her writing style. I have enjoyed many of her books and thhis one is no exception, beacause several are set in the same time period which not only provides an entertaining read but you can LEARN things about the culture. Sutcliff has a great descriptive mind and it is evident in this series of books. She's probably the best author I've encountered in my short life. Some other of my favourite books by her are Simon, Warrior Scarlet, and Bonnie Dundee. I recommend these books due to the fact they are very good at showing the real side of history not just the fancy-free silly stuff we hear about in other books.

Excellent book, enjoyed it completely would recommend to any person who enjoys good poetry A good book to curl up on the couch with in front of a warm fire looking forward to any new work from author. Definite A+ thanks!
