Quirky
A rather odd hodge-podge covering Enzo Ferraris life, nice colour drawings of the GP and sports-racing cars, and many b/w photogtaphs of the road cars. Also chapters about oddities like F2 and hill climb cars. Worthwhile if you already have a few Ferrari books.

A good book, if you can get it. How about an update?
This was a hotly awaited book when it was first published, and it is still a useful reference, even though terribly dated. This is a technical history, with the evolution of each model described by photos with detailed captions, full specifications, and side-view line drawings. The paper the book is printed on feels rather cheap but that did not detract too much from photo reproduction quality. Since nothing quite along these lines has come about lately, this is a good book to search for, but don't pay too much. Since the author is still active, maybe we can hope for an updated edition?

Finite Elements Electrical Engineers

Removal of the section on waveguide discontinuity analysis
The third edition of FINITE ELEMENTS FOR ELECTRICAL ENGINEERS by Silvester & Ferrari is an excellent book. However, I am quite disappointed with the removal of the section on scattering matrix calculation and waveguide discontinuity analysis which existed (Ch.9, section 4) in the second edition of the book.

A must-have for crystallographers
This is the only advanced general survey of topics in xray crystallography. Chapters are written by different authors, and the book feels pasted together. It is now seriously out of date.

Innovative recipes are tasty and healthy!
This cookbook is better than most in combining interesting flavors, low fat, and recipes that can be created by ordinary cooks. The garlic is not overdone but rather used to flavor in ways that helps lowfat food taste rich. We consider it a resource for our weight-conscious readers
