Another Fan Writer
Probably the worst thing to come out of the Xena fandom are the "authors" who now inhabit a number of lesbian bestseller lists. As a lifetime fan of SF, and a lifetime lesbian, I was lured into buying this against my better judgment; I should have known better. The book is very poorly written. There is little to no plot or character development. It has not been edited. I did a web search and found the sequel to this book online. Read it for free. Actually, don't bother reading it for free. And give this a skip. Read Katherine Forrest instead.

OK if you don't mind being left hanging at the end
I like all I read of T's stuff online. This is not nearly so good as her online versions. For some reason, Ford and Mara have less lifeliness in published version than they did online. I have to say now I like Nyeta and Phoenix better than most of the main people (and Nyeta and Phoenix are the dragons!). Part of the problem is the book ends abrupt--why not have the whole book as one? Make no sense. Also, who checked for mistakes? There is so many mistakes even I can tell and I am bad at spelling and typos. I was real disappointed on this one. The love scene seemed shorter and less written well than the online version. Maybe I remembering it badly, but I just was disappointed. This is not up to T's regalar standards.

RADD!! Romance, Adventure, Drama, Diversity
As a long time fan of T. Novan's various stories, I am thrilled to see this one published. It is an exciting story that introduces its readers to the possibility of a better world of the future, one that is willing to accept variations in lifestyle without judgement. But also a world still wrought with age old issues of jealousy, greed and revenge, and the struggles of two young lovers trying to make it through it all. This is one you will want to read again and again! Bravo, TN! This reader looks forward with anticipation to your next adventure!

Waste of Money! Don't do what I did!
I bought this book to learn how to Swap a EFI 5.0 in my old '67 Mustang, because it has a whole chapter devoted to it. It told me nothing more than what I already learned before from the Windsor-Fox. I looked over the rest of the book at its information about engine rebuilding, and found it just as worthless. If you want to learn how to Swap an EFI 5.0, you'll just be wasting your money on this book, and if you are looking to rebuild your engine, this book is a waste of your time. There are so many better books that cover performance engine rebuilding out there.

Nice Overview of Available Aftermarket Combinations
This was a pretty good book as far as showing you how much power certain combinations make. Nothing in this book is terribly enlightening though if you're a regular reader of Hot Rod, Car Craft and other high-performance magazines. But it's fairly comprehensive. It does not get into engine theory much or the process of engine building/assembly at all.

Ford Windsor Small-Block Performance
Almost as good as the Mathis book. It covers a lot of performance companies, including Saleen and Vortech. The only thing I didn't like was the retrofitting chapter where the author tells you how to retro fit a 302 into an old muscle car. It should've been spent on fitting a 351W into a SN95 V6 engine bay; now that would've help me more.

Poorly written, disappointing
I just bought a gift manufacturing company. I hoped this book would teach me "everything I needed to know." It did give me a few pieces of information (and any information is great at this point, hence the two stars), but basically the message is "you must use mfr's reps and keep them happy." I think the writer is biased in this way - she owns a rep search firm, so I don't feel I can trust her information. She discussed no alternative methods of marketing except (very briefly) the possibility of attending trade shows. She also wasted my time with lots of useless (warmed-over) information about business plans, marketing plans, etc, that is just not even close the the quality of other small-business books. The list of trade shows in the back might be of some use, but you can get that information elsewhere. In addition, her grammer and spelling and style (overuse of the passive voice, capital letters, and exclamation points, too much (supposedly motivational) "cliche-ish" business advice) are poor and annoying. A self-published book that comes across as amateurish. I think my evaluation of this book will become lower as I learn from other sources. If this was my 500-600th pages of study (rather than my first reading) about the giftware industry, I probably would have been more dissapointed, as I suspect that other sources will be much better. For example, try downloading articles from jiverson.com or craftsreport.com.

A most read for giftware reps and manufacturers alike.
Jill Ford's book should be read by anyone entering the wholesale gift trade, whether they are a manufacturer or a manufacturer's representative. Any manufacturer considering whether or not to hire an independent rep should read this book which provides all the guidelines for doing so. The appendix containing the sample forms for drafting a rep contract, wholesale price sheets etc. is worth the price of the book alone. I also recommend visiting her website, giftbusiness.com, which is a wonderful resource for anyone in the trade, and subscribing to her free newsletter.

DEFINITELY Worth Buying!
I have read Gift Trade Marketing and have found it to be a VERY useful reference. I am new in the gift industry and didn't know who to ask. The section on gift shows, although 3 years old, is also useful in that it lists contact information, type of product displayed at shows etc. The book is well organized and easy to follow. I highly recommend this book to others.

An inspiration to Hitler
Hitler admired Henry Ford. Hitler had a photo of Ford in his office. Ford was an inspiration to Hitler while writing his book Mein Kampf.

Henry Ford is guilty of racist hatred. He will be remembered by the civilized world as an accomplice to Hitler, who was responsible for millions of deaths (second only to Stalin), including thousands of American soldiers.

Any praise of Henry Ford is racist. This book is a forgery in the same genre as the Protocols of the Elders of Zion. An important historic document, just like Mein Kampf.

The International Jew
Mr. Ford was a wise man. No changes sence 1921 except there is no more wise men left. We all go to goverment schools now.

VERY REAL AND TRUE UNTIL NOW
Aftermath of US's invasion to Iraq which was an obvious conspiracy of Jews in the US, Henry Ford's predictions, more than 80 years ago, are quite right. The Jews, the most notorious creatures on earth, are claiming to repair the world, not for the sake of Americans, but for the benefits of damned Jews aorund the world. Those Jews are titled by Henry Ford as "international Jew". It is a MUST read book for every American.

Horrible Physics Book
This is the worst textbook I have ever read. The book does not prepare you to do a lot of the problems at the end of each chapter. There are some problems that take hours to complete, even though they should really only take a few minutes, simply because the book does not prepare you for certain types of problems. A word of advice to the authors: stay in the lab, stick to research, because you obviously have no idea how to educate students.

Great summaries
The text is a bit confusing, but reading the figures and summaries helps a lot. Some of the problems aren't covered in the book, so you're going to have to get some help for the harder problems

An excellent book for study.
I find this book to be very good at explaining the concepts of physics. In addition to clearly presenting principles and derivations of those principles, it also clearly addresses issues that are difficult for students to understand. There are numerous examples of how to apply the principles to problems. Some examples are traditional problems that have been around as long as anyone can recall, others are new. This is not to be considered an easy book, nor is the study of physics easy. You must really work to understand the material. To this end there are problems whose solution is not included in the text; the reason is to avoid the plug-and-chug attitude that many people have about physics - that memorizing formulas and techniques are all that are necessary to understand physics. As someone who has been teaching physics for more than 20 years I can tell you that this book is good for both the student and the instructor.

Save your money
I've been a wrench head for over 35 Years. I've used lot's of Chilton Manuals and books. This is by far the worst I've ever seen. I bought it to help with the restoration of an '86 Lincoln Mark VII LSC. It had virtually no information on the shift cable R&R. It has limited information on interior parts and the diagrams are so small I need a magnifying glass to see them. I would never have bought it if I had known what it lacks. Maybe that's why they seal them in plastic bags on the shelf now ????

What happened to CHILTON
I must say that of all the books that I've read from Chilton, this has got to be a serious joke. Those of us who buy these books buy them so we can learn the material. The way this one was written, it seems almost as if you wrote it for people who already know these things. I'm very disappointed in this book and hope that a revised edition will be published. Please make Chilton #1 once again. Sincerly, Jeff Wynberg, concerned, loyal customer.

it was a book devoted to the repair of my car, it helped
i think this was a good book because it described everything in great detail and had very good pictures making it easy to understand. But the best part was the color which is hard to find in repair manuals at this cost.

Not useful after ~1980
Even with a publishing date of 1999, most of the information is about pre-1980 Ford Engines. For anyone working on 1986 to 1995 Ford 302's there is little information. Many of the Spac. tables end prior to 1975. For me rebuilding a 1995 5.0L to a 1986 Mustang GT, not much help.

Leaves a bit to be desired.
This book is a wonderful source if you're looking for STOCK interchange info on FE or small-block motors. However, if you happen to be a fan of or are seeking information on the 429/460 (385 series) motors, I think you'll be disappointed. While almost entire chapters are dedicated to the FE motor family, more often than not the last 1 1/2 pages refer to the 429/460's. Sure, that wierd one-off NASCAR 427 motor is neat to look at, but you're highly unlikely to see one at the local swap meet. And even if you do, you probably don't want to buy it anyway, due to lack of aftermarket support. This book reads like an art museum guide, extolling the virtues (or lack) of obscure parts that we'll probably never see. Interesting, yes. Helping with building a performance motor for a street or strip car , no. Good coffee table book, but not recommended for the average info seeker.

Interesting Reading
I bought this book for information on 429 and 460 engines (it includes 460 in big letters on the cover). The information on 429/460s especially the heads is weak, tables are partially complete and the casing numbers are inconsistant and sometimes just wrong. It would be foolish to buy parts based solely on this reference. There no material for 429/460 engines after 1975. For the price it is a good value, I just wish it was more accurate and complete.

Chilton's Mustang repair manual 64-73 ... :-(
This book is okay for some simpler repair and maintainance jobs. Use it in conjunction with some better books for any serious repairs. It leaves out LOTS of important details in many cases. I would NEVER try rebuilding your engine using this book. The pictues are grainy and can be hard to see what its illustrating. The electrical section is somewhat lacking. Try and find a used copy or borrow one. The best part about it is, IF you are working on a 71-73 Mustang, ALL the photos are of a 72 Mustang with a 302.

Good for simple maintenance
I bought this book to help me on restoring an 1967 Mustang.
The book came weel packed but I was a little desapointed with the photos. They look very old and sometimes difficult to realize what it is.I felt also that a lot of details where resumed. But it is a good book if you want to do a simple maintenance and begin to understand how the car works.

Cougar Repair Manual
In reviewing the book, I found it to be well written, well illustrated and easy to follow. However, the fact that the book was wrapped so tightly by the shipping department that it was badly bent for about six (6) inches on the lower right hand corner over shadowed any enjoyment I may have received from the use of the book. I take care of my books being careful to not dirty or bend the pages during use and have a fairly large library of repair manuals due to this care process. The only reason the book was not returned, was that it was given to my daughters boyfriend and he figured it would be damaged in moving around.

Does NOT contain info for 6 cylinders
I have a 67 mustang that I want to swap over to a V8 (289-351) and wanted to know what needed to be changed. This book had no info for 6 cylinders. What ...[mad me mad] ...is that it doesn't say anywhere that it is for V8's only. If you have a 6 cylinder then don't buy this book....

The information is so WRONG.
The information in this book is incredibly inaccurate. The first thing I will point out is... it is impossible to use a 289 ci intake manifold on a 351W block. That is the most obvious mistake I found, but there were plenty more. Whoever edited this book knows nothing about the topic. There were captions that didn't match the right pictures, interchange numbers that didn't match the chart and tons of others mistakes. I do not recommend this book for anyone. If the information that I KNOW is wrong, how much other information is wrong?

Not much use
I bought this book a while back and found it completely usless. I suggest you take a look at this book in person before you purchase it. It isn't the easiest book to use, is inacurate, and incomplete. You may have better luck asking someone at a parts counter for interchanbeable parts for your car.

This book needs revised and updated!

Get the real Ford Shop Manual.
This is a basic repair manual. For example, if your wanting to work on the transmission you turn to that chapter and read something like "do not attempt to repair a transmission. This is beyond the scope of the average home mechanic". Well, isn't that the reason you buy a repair manual in the first place? Your much better off to order the Ford Automotive Manual for you year of Bronco II. It is the standard by which the Ford mechanics work from. The Haynes manual is just this side of being a joke.

PS. It does have nice pictures however...

Not For Electrical Problems
For anyone hoping to find good electrical schematics, this is not the right book. I cannot trace the horn circuit, for example. In addition, I have a failed gas gauge. There is nothing in the book that discusses how to fix this problem. As with some other books, there is a lot of info on how to completely overhaul an engine - but not enough on more minor repairs.

If you only have one, get this one...
I also own both this and the analogous Chilton manual and I have to say that the Haynes is by far the more accessible: The drawings and photographs are clearer, the instructions are better written, and the seperation of the information regarding the different engines is better. Also, the general maintenance (oil change, lube, and tune up) information is much better.

The Chilton manual, on the other hand, has extensive tables of torque listings, includes Ford part numbers in the drawings, and has factory-style detail regarding the catalyst.

On balance, these two are complementary. Unfortunately, not even both of these in concert are exhaustive: there are simply some details that are not covered. If anyone has a better manual please let me know.

Regarding the electircal schematics comment from previous:
The total system is cut up into several sections and moving between the sections may be tricky (if not impossible), but, again, the Haynes is more clearly labeled.

Disclaimer: I have not yet used either manual for a major job.
