This is a nice overview of Pontiacs of 50's 60's and early 70's. A lot of nice full color pictures and several nice facts in an easy to read format. Many of the cars are "real" and not picture perfect collectors, this adds a nice touch. A good book for light reading and to see different models and options of Pontiacs!

This book gives you a high level overview of most of Pontiac's performance cars. It is not all inclusive but is very good for people who don't need extensive detail on every fast Pontiac ever built. The text is accompanied by several nice color pictures.

Although I have and frequently peruse a number of books related to the Porsche 356, Maltby's offers factory photographs I have never seen before! Great photos, interesting and concise text. Anyone interested in the 356 would enjoy this book.

The photographs reveal the kind of spirit these marvelous creations from Zuffenhausen produced in the early days of Porsche. Exceptional reading & photography!!

This is a great book and may be interesting both to a Honda fan and to someone sceptical about those "riceboyz carz". This book not only talks about the success of Honda (and they have a lot to say!), but also openly discusses the problems and unsuccessful designs they had. This book tells you why, besides cars and motorcycles, Honda builds walking robots and airplanes. With every page I read I had more appreciation of Honda thinking and I was more proud to drive something designed by these people.

Some of the future car prototypes discussed in the last chapter are already on sale as production cars, and it leaves a feeling that this book is kind of old, outdated, but this is only another confirmation to how dynamic and innovative Honda is.

I really enjoy this book and recommend it to everybody who wants to know how Honda came about and what they are after.

This is one comprehensive history book of the most important motor company of all time: Honda. Honda was and is making progress in leaps and bounds. They are the past, present and future of the automobile industry, hands down. They even had enough foresight to develop a hybrid car while all of the gas consuming, muscle car fanatics stood back and laughed. But, like so many times in the past, Honda always gets the last laugh! Who was it that almost put Harley Davidson out of business...?

A great book. The name says it all

This book is the most excellent book I have ever read in TQM. The book's foreword is written by Quality Guru Armand V. Feigenbaum. Also, this book is highly praised by all quality gurus including Philip B. Crosby, Genichi Taguchi, and J.D. Power III. The authors explained how an effective quality systems to be implemented in any size of organization. This book is for any types of industry, not only for automotive. Every case study featured in the book is also reviewed by the renowned faculty from HARVARD BUSINESS SCHOOL and MIT's SLOAN MANAGEMENT SCHOOL. I highly recommend this book without any reservation.

A very useful book, perfect for race engineers, and a good launching platform for an engineer just starting to delve into the field of racecar engineering. Mr Van Valkenburg has a very unique view of racecar engineering that makes his writings a pleasure to read.

Mr. Van Valkenburgh has succeeded in getting across a great deal of technical information, and presenting it in such a way that the non-technical reader can understand and apply it. From tires and shocks, to suspension geometry and slip angles, all of the nuts and bolts info. is covered. No muss, no fuss, no useless information that won't help you win races, just factual, useful information. I take it with me every time we go to the track, and I use it every time.

As a sports photographer and long time Rally fan, I have been blown away by Reinhard Klein's photography in Autosport for years. I was so excited to see his book that I imported a copy from England before it was available here. Please note that his photos are not just about cars. His pictures capture the diverse environments of international rallying from his favorite Kenya to Monte Carlo. The photos of the mechanics working in awful conditions are splendid, too. As much art photography as sports.

Rally is nor a regular kind of racing. Rally, unlike F1, is full with passion, adrenalin ans views. The book RALLY gives the reader the exact feeling of standing next to a rally car. the book's size is big, gives the reader feeling of holding a black racing steering wheel between his hands. pictures are just wonderful. It's a very colourful book, with lot of information about rally, rally drivers and cars since the begining of the rally. this book, must be found on every rally lover's shelf!

Ready to Roll: A celebration of the Classic American Travel Trailer
Although I am admittedly a bit biased because of Tin Can Tourists' association with Dough Keister and this project, I found the book to be top notch. The blend of Arrol Gellner's text with Doug's pictures provides the reader with much more than a typical "coffee table" book.
I believe it deserves a place with Galloping Bungalows and Wheel Estate as a must for those that require a fuller understanding of the RV evolution from the Tin Can Tourists to Airstream Founder, Wally Byam.

This book is a great overview of the history and variety of travel trailers out on the road. Great quality pictures of all types of trailers, trailer parks and vintage ads. Finally, an un-biased history of the trailer, which tells the real story of how the Airstream came into being. The inventor of the aluminum aircraft-style trailer finally gets his due (hint: Wally Byam didn't invent it, he just perfected it and marketed it better). Also a great source of ideas for those lost souls who undertake a restoration of these beauties. Americana never looked so beautiful and interesting.

I bought this book for my four-year-old who LOVES buses!!! There are really no other bus books out there and this one was perfect!! It showed each part of the bus and explained it in kid-appropriate terms. This book comes out every night for a bedtime story and it has become a definite favorite in our house.

This book is the best book for teaching kids all about school buses and safety. It shows them what school buses are used for and tells them how different parts of the bus operate and why. The pictures are excellent and show a variety of different buses and close ups of all the different parts. I have a toddler who is crazy about School Buses and this book lets him see everything on a bus. He has learned all the parts of the bus and what they do. We read this book every night before bed and never get tired of it! Thank you for providing such a wonderful book for kids. (and grown-ups too!)

This is a very well done book on the slot car hobby for the beginner, novice and advanced enthusiast. I particularly found the information on various track layout designs, car tune-up and custom car building to be excellent. This book focuses on 1/32 scale and provides limited HO scale coverage. It has rekindled my interest in the hobby.

This is a must have . If you are an avid slot fan or have ever owned slot cars you will appreciate this book. Robert did a great job....

John Katz is probably the most important automotive historian of this time. His books are methodically and painstakingly researched, and his writing style is engaging and enjoyable. If you car about cars, you need this book.
