I just received this book and I am so excited. It is full of great pictures from many different collections that show trucks from all parts of North America during different periods of time of the past 100 years. This book is a MUST for anyone who interested in trucking history in North America.

I am a follower of Autocourse Annuals since the early 80's and have not seen any books coming close to its quality (Pictures, content & layout) over the years. Many attempts were made in recent years to "dethrone" Autocourse's status in F1 annual publication and success stories are rare.

In 2002, another such attempt was made by this "2001 Formula One Annual" with Nigel Mansell as Editior-in-Chief. To be honest, I was again tempted to compare it to "Autocourse 2001-02" page by page. To my surprise, I found this book quite interesting to read even if I have a copy of Autocourse by its side. I do not intend to judge which one is better but this book gave me a refreshing look at the 2001 F1 season.

The presentation is quite refreshing whereas the "technical reviews" is something extra comparing to Autocourse. This book really shows some potentials and I hope the next one is even better.

I used the techniques described in the book and sold my car in 4 days, for $400 above what I thought I'd get for it. His methods are simple yet very effective.

'Driving Survival' is a must read for anybody who gets behind the wheel, regardless of how much experience you think you have. Jim MacPherson has crafted an easy-to-read AAA Auto Guide that will open your eyes. It had handy information on topics as varied as increased rollover risk, the correct way to adjust your mirrors (I had been doing it wrong for more than 20 years) and what to look for when purchasing a car. The book is also laid out well with clear, concise graphics and loads of sidebars. It's the type of book you read from cover to cover or use as a reference manual. You won't regret purchasing this book. It could save your life or the life of a loved one.

This book is, without doubt, the best book I ever read

For the beginner of Engine Design & Testing, it will be very helpful guide.

This book has it all. All the todays propulsions systems that you think of.

The author of this book knows firefighting apparatus. He's been taking pictures of them for years for various manufacturers and others. His book on Pumpers was great. This continues in the same tradition with dozens of beautiful pictures and an interesting history of the evolution of aerials. There si extensive coverage from 1970 to the 21st Century, as well as a brief, interesting look back to 1900. I can't wait for my copy of Hooks & Ladders to arrive.
