It's the best and most complete book on american automobiles of the 50's I have ever seen

This is a great book to read with great pictures. Lots of good info about how the cars were designed, what the market was like at the time and how the cars performed. I wish the publisher made a book like this for the 70's also...

this book is very great it tell you all about the different types of trucks out there...I learned quite a bit about them. They have a chapter for each typs of truck like Dimond T. How often do you hear about that type? Well if you like the history of Pickups then this is the book for. But I will let you make the choice.

If there is any sports car produced prior to 1990, this book is sure to have it. A nice coffee table companion.

I haven't enjoyed a book as much as I enjoyed reading this book. it is extremely helpful and precise. I recommend it strongly.

The book is ultimate and heplful

The most wonderful book on the hardest working, most underrated HD - the 45. This book does what most fail to do, it recognises the effect this small unassuming two wheeler has had on the lives of so many for so long.

Family transport during the depression, defender of the free world, mobile shop (servicar!), post war family transport, race bike, police utility, brakedown vehicle, Europes post war intro to the HD breed, and the ultimate custom canvass. The 45 has lived many lives with reliabilty (!), dignity, and pride.

John & Garry do a superb job, and its good to see a book that contains so much UK homegrown content. - Especially the 45 once owned by Krazy Horse Kustoms very own Steve Studd (its still going strong after many years too!!).
