Trucks of the Wehrmacht : A Photo Chronicle
This book covers the Wehrmacht supply organization and the trucks used within the German military during WWII. There are hundreds of photos detailing domestic, foreign, and captured types. There are also other sections, such as marking and painting. As a modeler, this book was very helpful to me as far as technical details and illustrating numberous types and uses.

Before you buy or lease--read this book!
Wow--who knew that buying a car would be so complicated? After reading The Unofficial Guide to Buying or Leasing a Car, I felt that I was ready to negotiate with the dealers, get the best financing available, and drive away in the car I'd always wanted. As a woman not accustomed to dealing with slick salesmen, I wouldn't have felt confident and informed if I hadn't followed the advice in this value-packed book. Buying a car was a big deal for me, and I feel like I didn't get ripped off, thanks to Donna Howell!

The best 'Used Car' book I've found... ~c:)
I cannot recommend this book highly enough. It not only does a thorough overview of many different makes and models of cars and reviews things like 'overall buy', 'crash testing', etc. But it also gives a 10 point check on how to check out a used car to see if it worth taking to a AAA Diagnostic before getting the diagnostic.

If you want to save hundreds / thousands of dollars on future repairs, this is the book to get!

A must-read for engineers developing car navigation systems
It is a very well-written book covering in-depth all the related topics in vehicle navigation, a timely primer for people new to the subject and a comprehensive reference for researchers/engineers working in this field. I like its balanced treatment of fudamental theory and practical techniques. The book discusses many state-of-the-art development in the current car navigation systems such as the 3-D birdeye view of the maps, multi-sensor fusion for map matching, dynamic routing with real-time traffic info, and the wireless technology that keeps driver connected. In addition, the book also discusses a variety of techniques to locate the mobile phone caller (A FCC mandatory requirement for wireless communications services). The references to related web sites also prove to be very useful.

Author: Edwin J. Sanow
Amazon base price: $13.95

An excellent book for any police car lover!
I LOVE police cars, and I LOVE this book! It's excellent, the greatest police car book in my library so far. featuring over 80 awesome color photos of antique Ford, Chevy, Dodge, and Plymouth police cars from the 40s through the 70s. the only thing that bugs me about it is that there are too many pics of former California Highway Patrol cars. but other than that, this book also makes an excellent take-along and will fit on the bookshelf of any police car enthusiast!
