Read 'em All, and...
This book is among the best.

As background, I've been riding street/sport bikes for 18 years now, and have read nearly everything out there on the subject. Mr Park's book goes beyond Keith Code's (excellent) techniques list, exploring more diverse and usable territory like basic suspension tuning, body positioning, basic mental and physical conditioning, riding gear selection, and why racers do "X" as opposed to a street rider who should perhaps approach the same issue in a modified manner. He also does an excellent job covering more advanced matter, such as how to prep your bike for, and what to expect when you head for a day at a racetrack.

I got a lot out of this book. It's one of a select few I'll read again to brush up on my riding skills.

Practical Exercises
I really like using this book because Parks outlines several practical exercises to improve riding skills. My cornering skills have improved using these exercises.
This is not the a first book for the new motorcyclist, Proficient Motorcycling by Hough fills that spot.

However, I am not trying to suggest that Parks' book for the novice. Practicing the riding exercises from Total Control is a useful next step beyond the Experienced Riders Course, a riding class offered in the U.S.

Greater skills for me equals greater safety. Hough's and Parks' books are an excellent starting points.

The more you know the better it gets.
Total control is a very informative book. I've been riding motorcycles for 12 years and the tips that Lee gave me in this book really helped my riding. I've took the MSF ERC and they don't even mention some of the helpful ideas in the class that Lee gives in his book. Corners use to be a hurdle I had to overcome but after reading Total control they are so much easier and More FUN! Thanks Lee.

I've read Sport Riding techniques by Nick Ienatsch also and Total control is a little easier to read. Both are must reads for all motorcyclist.

From concept cars to the different the different variations, its all covered. Includes great colored photos as well as specifications of all the cars including American, Japanese and European grades. Highly recommended.

Manual or Storybook???
Is this a user's manual for the MR2 or is it just a history book?

Best MR2 book!
Well if you are a nut about MR2's like I am then you MUST own this book. Many great pictures of the development for all three generations. Also a great read about the history of the MR2.

Best VW restoration book I've read!
If you plan on doing a restoration of a beetle or bus this is a must have. There are other VW books out there that mention body work to a degree, but this book goes into detail for every step of the process. Of particular interest was replacing floor pans, heater channels and just about every other problem area on a beetle. There are step by step pictures as well. The book also covers interior restoration and mechanicals.

A book that covers nearly every aspect of beetle restoration
Through-out this book you will find very detailed drawings directly from Volkswagen and step-by-step instructions with illustrations. Book covers: chassis and bodywork, interiors, as well as mechanical and electrical components. Illustrations are black&white.

THE book to have in your library if you're seriuos about vw!
You begin with a foreward by Ivan Hirst himself. The man responsible from the British military for breathing life back in to the recently war torn vw plant in 1945. This is the definitive book on restoring your vw beetle and transporter. The resto focuses mainly on the beetle and only touching the real problem areas on the vw transporter (van). With this book, and some skill with the welder, you can rid your vw of painful rust and wear. You'll get a history lesson as well as a religous lesson on getting intimate with the structure and mechanics of your beloved vw. If you think you won't need this one, you're passing up an opportunity.

10-Minute Tech
I'm new to the RV world and searched out any and all books and web sites pertaining to the RV Life. This particular book is the culmination of thousands of readers submissions for making your RV experience that much more comfortable. 10-Minute Tech has a way of dealing with technical topics most simply and effectively. This book is a must have for any RV library. It will pay itself back many fold by revealing 600 practical, money saving and very well thought out solutions to everyday problems RV'ers face. I just can't seem to put this book down, I'm always learning something new!

Extremely useful RVing tips
This book from the editors of "Trailer Life" magazine collects more than 600 practical ideas contributed by TL readers. The tips are well written and are enhanced by by Bill Tipton's excellent illustrations, which clarify anything the words don't get across.

The book is divided into major sections on Livability, Safety, Appliances, Maintenance, Automotive, In Camp, Systems, Storage, Towing, Accessories, Sanitation, Doors/Hatches/Handles, Cleaning/Protecting, and Tools. each section contains dozens of practlcal, do-able suggestions.

As I read through it the first time, I found ideas on almost every page that made me want to jump up and apply them to my own motorhome, or call a friend and pass on a tip. I've never seen so much good stuff--ingenious, clever, simple, money-saving ideas--packed into one book. Highly recommended for any RVer! By the way, you can get this for $16.99 from Camping World.

Great Book with lots of information on the Mustang GT story
I am the owner of a 1967 Ford Mustang luxury convertible GTA S-Code. I enjoyed the book and got a lot of bits and pieces of the history put in perspective in the proces.

Great help for recognition and restauration
This book helped me to restore my 67/68 Mustangs more than most others. It's not a 'How to'- book but it shows the diffrent details of every model and option.

Great Guide
This book is the car buyers prophet. It shows you all of the stats and tells you what's good and what's not. It also provides a complete guide on pricing and whether or not your getting ripped off or a bargain.

new cars sold in The United States in 1998
I would like to know the number of new cars sold in the United States in 1998 or during the last 12 months. The number of small cars sold in The United States in 1998 and the number of large and medium-sized cars sold in the United States. Note the comparative growth rates.

A BETTER IDEA
This is a book sure to delight any Ford lover and especially anyone who loves classic Fords. The photographs are a major bonus. Readers get treated to some really cool pictures of some really serious cars, e.g. Ford Falcons and soaring Thunderbirds.

I like the way the equipment and number of automobiles manufactured is included. I also really liked some of the classic photographs, such as a beautiful 1961 Ford Falcon in a showroom and sale pictures as well. This is a comprehensive, well researched book that certainly lives up to the classic Ford slogan, "Drive a Ford! It's a Better Idea!"

90 Years of Ford
This book has to be one of the best titles in the Crestline series! Endless pictures and information make this book hard to put down. You cannot look thru this book without learning something you did not know about Ford. I am not sure but it seems as though there is a picture of almost every Ford ever made. You will not be disappointed with this title.

A great book
This is one of the specialised book in the topic of duct acoustics. It is unfortunate that it is out of print. In fact this is a must for those specialising in the subject of flow acoustics. I wish that it should get republished.

Excellent book for acousticians involved in exhaust systems
One and Only book available in this area for the practising engineers. The book covers basic to advanced topics in this area. The chapter on Experimental and design considerations of mufflers is very interesting and informative even for novice.

Great Book
Fantastic reference. Great details and info. I wish he would write one on International Harvester.

A Good Reference for any machinery enthusiast.
I foung this book to be a very good reference for Allis Chamblers construction equiptment. While it contains little information on the AC farm tractors, this book covers nearly all of their construction equiptment. There are individual chapters for each type of equiptment, witha thoughle history of each modle. At the end of each chapter there are detailed specification sheets, as well as an apendix of serial numbers and years, so you can pinpoint your tractor's date of manufacture. The book goes gives a good history of the original company, as well as somewhat of a history of the major companies that AC bought, such as BUDA. The book also contains information on models of equiptment continued on into Fiat-Allis, such as the FA HD-31. The book covers all eqiptment, from the first early Monarch crawlers, all the way up to the giagantic HD-41's. There are chapters on industrial eqipyment, such as forklifts, and small crawlers, also inclued. If this author were to write another book like this, I would be first in line to buy it.

American Car Haulers: Special Delivery!
I truly love all kinds of big trucks, but auto carriers never fail to stop me in my tracks wherever I may be. Dick Copello really has hit a tape-measure home run with this book. He does an outstanding job blending a highly-readable text with stunning photos. My sincere recommendation is that if you are a truck fan, you won't be able to put this one down. It will be one of your all-time favorites; I know that it's one of mine!
