Fiat 500 the best economical car in the world
Fiat 500

For many, just another microcar for others the best italian car of this century. First of all let can you imagine that almost 3.000.000 of these cars were built during the 50/60 decades.

In my opinion this book gives a very good overall overview of what are the 500 and 600. There are good pictures and ilustrations. I definetily consider this book as a basic book to buy or restore a 500

The only thing missing is more detail on the special versions that were made by abarth and giannini

Best regards

A great collection of road tests.
If you're a Firebird/Trans Am fanatic you will be fascinated by this comprehensive collection of detailed road tests covering all Firebird models released from 1967 to 1972.

Each model year is covered by several road tests, although they can tend to repeat each other at times, it's interesting to hear several different points of view - the researchers even managed to dig up a couple of reviews from over here in the UK!

As well as containing a wealth of stats and performance figures the book is complete with lots of black and white photos of the cars from all angles including under the bonnet - invaluable if you are restoring a Firebird as these photos are of truly ORIGINAL cars.

Just to be complete there are a few articles on performance tuning, 'fitch' firebirds and a round up where the firebird and several other pony cars were compared.

I enjoyed this book and look forwards to reading the next one which picks up the story at 1973.

not quite Chiltons
This book has helped me save some serious time, as I am not an automotive guru. It has also cut down on the amount of trips to the parts store. It could have been organized better, and it should have gone into more detail.

A first-rate tour of Ford tractor history and evolution.
Lavishly embellished with archive photos and drawings, Ford Farm Tractors gives the Ford enthusiast copius information about the design and development of the Ford tractor line. From Ford's early attempts at traction power to the latest New Holland offerings, the author provides enough details to satisfy most information-hungry Ford lovers. Full-color photographs of collector tractors, working tractors and implements provide ample details for restorers and hobbyists alike. There are some minor editing details, such as a few mis-captioned pictures and the inclusion of several previously published photos that detract from this otherwise beautiful, useful and welcome addition to the tractor-enthusiast's library or coffee table.

Great photos, but lack of support text.
If you ever wanted to know how these trucks looked like since the beggining of the oil industry, and its evolution throughout the years, this book will give you a very clear picture. It has lots of fantastic photos, drawings and other interesting details, but in my opinion it's very short of explicative/support text. Although it's only focused on American oil companies, the book is very good, and I had some great moments with it.
