An Excellent "Bang for your Buck!"
I just finished "Living Abourd your RV" by Janet & Gordon Groene. Most excellent material, taking you from the first urges of fulltiming to the 'End of the Road'. As a Canadian, I didn't get the Canadian perspective of many of the topics, but of course for that I would have to read a book written by Canadian authors. The universal areas covered were done so in the most professonal manner and down to Earth. Many good and timely suggestions from choosing your Home on Wheels, managing money, mini-hobbies, housecleaning, security and of course repairs and maintence. A terrificly good read ! By the way I purchased the book online from Amazon.com who gave me most excellent service! Tom G. Offer

Tells you EVERYTHING about bicycle travel.
The author has gone on worldwide bicycle tours and used a bike exclusively for 4 1/2 years for transportation. He tells you how to prepare for every possible scenario on the road and in the city, bike maintenance, styles, safety, etc. He has experienced all the pitfalls and shares with you all the solutions. The only thing that's not perfect is that it was written in 1983, so it's not as up-to-date as it could be. But otherwise EXCELLENT!

Photos and anecdotes
This is primarily a book of pictures, with short stories from drivers and others that were there. There is no technical information, not much about the development of the company, and no organized presentation of race results.

Mazda 626 & MX-6 and Ford Probe Automotive Repair Manual
Haynes has whipped up another repair manual in its never ending quest to squeeze out Chilton's. It's doubtful that will ever happen. Although Haynes puts out a functional manual that covers general automotive repairs extensively, it seems to lack information on more abstract problems. Haynes always starts out with a troubleshooting guide, but you'll find the same problems diagnosed no matter which manual you buy. Maybe it's just me, but my automotive problems always lie outside the spectrum of Haynes' thinking. It's almost it's as if the manual were designed for someone who has never worked on a vehicle before. Are those the people who are buying this book? I'm thinking not, but what do I know? Haynes does provide easy to follow steps for most procedures involved, if you have the proper tools. Although many photos are provided to exemplify a particular removal/replacement procedure, I've sometimes felt that a diagram works better for such purposes. There are numerous wiring diagrams available, but it would be nice to see some color there to differentiate the wiring. My suggestion, spend the extra money on the official Mazda shop manual (or Ford Probe as it were). The extra money spent is well worth it.

Original magazine reviews
It is a compilation of photocopies of magazine reviews as they originally appeared in such publications as Road & Track, Sports Car World, Autocar, Car & Driver, Motor, etc. Several British magazines are represented and there are many Jaguar-Mercedes comparisons. I found the contemporary aspect fascinating and gained a greater understanding and appreciation for my SL after reading this book. Worth adding it to your library.

You know what a ponton is
The book is very well detailed , has nice cover , also it has a good size, quite portable to exhibitions and antique autoshows, It is the best guide i have ever read refering to the mercedes Benz Models 1940-1959. The two biggest inconvient of the books are its non color photos and the low details of the photos, yes the photos are totaly original but they are shot from a long distance (10-15 feet )away from the car , there are only 3 or 4 good photos detailing the interior , this is particulary useful if you are a restorer

Schumacher against history
Delves on how Schumacher stacks up against the best drivers
of all time. Contains some interesting anecdotes about
Schumacher finishing a race in the top 10 with the car stuck
in 5th gear! Could have added more anecdotes though. Interesting read nonetheless, finished it in one sitting.

An excellent book, detailing the entire history of the mighty MG's. Excellent information on the production of these 3 MG's, detailing VIN's, standard colours, and dates of manufacture - an ideal reference for those looking to buy, or anyone who already owns any of these wonderful vehicles.
