I have just recently come in contact with a classic AC Ace automobile. There are limited resources of information on the web and also in books, probably because there were so few of these car produced. Rinsey Mills has put together a great book with all the historical details and a bunch of the mechanical details as well. It also has a ton of great pictures, new and old. If you are own or are interested in an AC Ace or Cobra, you need this book.

I HAD I VERY NICE SURPRISE WHEN I RECIBED THE ORIGINAL VW BEETLE BOOK. IT IS VERY GOOD ILUSTRATED, WHITH GOOD QUALITY, FULL COLOR PHOTOS. THE CARS IN THE PHOTOS ARE REALY NICE, IN EXCELLENT ORIGINAL CONDITIONS. THE BOOK PRESENTS VERY USEFULL INFORMATION ABOUT THE EVOLUTION OF THE VW, INDICATING FOR EACH YEAR, SINCE 1945, THE MAIN CHANGES. IN RESUME THE BOOK LOOKS LIKE A BARGAIN BOOK, BUT HAS INFORATION LIKE A CONSULTING BOOK. I WILL RECOMEND THIS BOOK TO MY FRIENDS, THOSE WHO ARE INTERESTED IN THE VW. ALSO I THINK THE BOOK USEFULL FOR PEOPLE INTERESTED IN THOSE INDUSTRIAL PRODUCTS WHICH HAVE MADE HISTORY.

The best planee thaat the world has ever seen there should be a series. I hope other people enjoyed the book as much as I did. I hope after people read this book think as the plane more then a plain, but a HERO.Hope you'll read it.

This book not only tells the facts and details about the 46-59 Plymouths, it also has a lot of interesting bits about Plymouth. It has the story of Walter P Chrysler, facts about Plymouths in movies, even a story about a buried 57 Belvedere! A special section tells about the turbine powered Plymouths. There is a table with vin numbers, body numbers, production figures and engine numbers. Lots of great pictures top off the book, although they are all black and white.

This is a nice overview for people new to all things Porsche. If you have a lot of knowledge of this marque's history, you should enjoy the pictures (I shot many of them for the Author!) Ms. Miller has a long history with Porsche (former editor of Gmund) and is currently vintage racing a 911 so her credentials are real.

The book covers the full development of the Porsche 356. It starts suitably with the chapter that's called 'birth of a legend' and in this chapter it is described in a vivid manner how the 356 came to be. All the chapters are accompanied by beautiful pictures (although in black and white). The full development of the 356 gets all the attention it needs in the following chapters. In the middle of the book there are some nice colour pictures and this part is suitably called 'colour gallery'. Even for the general car lover (not specific Porsche 356) this is a nice book to read.

This is a great 'general' review on the history of the 356, but it lacks the detail of some other 'specific' books such as 'The 356 Porsche, A Restores' Guide to Authenticity' by Dr. B. Johnson. As a more general book, it is great. It has some of the most beautiful photos, both inside and out and some great ideas for restorations. I was hoping for a little more bang for my 35 dollar buck. It does have a great little history on Ferdinand... that makes it a 4 star book!

The book has a very good collection of articles from many important car magazines like Motor Trend, Car and Driver, Motor Sport, Road & track, etc. they all are articles talking about Porsches from 1990 to 1997 and cover comparison tests, specifications, performance and model specific details. If you like to buy and keep these type of magazines for certain articles, AND, you are a 911 fan, this is the book for you! I'd like a porsche company edition myself but this is a very nice collection from other magazines articles.

WELL CHOSEN 6 CARS, NOT THAT ONE COULD NOT SELECT ALTERNATIVES BUT NONETHELESS A GOOD REPRESENTATION OF THE MARQUE. A COFFEE TABLE PUBLICATION WITH A FAIR DEAL OF INFORMATION IN THE TEXT.

An excellent book for beginners who want to know more about the fundamentals of gas and conversions. Albeit the book is getting a little old gas conversions are done pretty much the same way with good results, pity that more people over here have not adopted it!
