This book is great introduction to the world of sprint cars. The photography alone makes this book. The shots of actual races leave you with the feeling that you wish you there. I particularly liked the overview of the different organizations. They show the drivers as true american heroes, born to race.I recommend this book to anyone with an interest in motorsports.Yes you have the top stars, but it great to read and see the regional racers.

A good piece of Charger historyThis is a "must" in a muscle car fan library, especially of those who like the Chargers. This book reviews the history: the designing process, the changes, and the final result, not to mention the technical data, lots and lots of great pics, we can also read about brilliant drivers who maaried with this car, such as the great Richard Petty. Anyway i reccomend this book to anybody who likes muscle cars.

Covers all models objectively, no specific preferenceKind of dry style coverage of production, no personal reflections, anecdotes or biases. Most pictures black and white. But there aren't many books telling this story so for those interested in the subject it should rate as a neccessary reference in the bookshelf.
There is a brilliant chapter there about the RE-5 Rotary. Useful for all the pictures of models.

My son's dream bookCombining an alphabet book with realistic illustrations of cars, this book has everything my three-year old son could want. Each letter of the alphabet gets one principal automobile, and two or three profile drawings of additional cars whose names begin with the letter. The principal car gets a full-page illustration and a paragraph or two of information. Some of the choices are a little obscure for American readers ("H", for example, is represented by Holden, an Australian car, rather than Honda), and the "modern" cars are now a bit dated, given its 1991 copyright. This book would appeal to a preschooler with an interest in cars, a young car fan wanting to broaden his or her horizons, and a father like me, looking for a book that I can happily reread when my son says, "Again?" If you're the kind of parent whose heart swells with pride when your toddler says, "Ferrari Testarossa," you've found the right book.

Great flow, wonderful history and terrific picturesThe history on each bike discribed in the book is quite informative. The bikes we were specifically interested in are the Bonnevilles and there is no shortage of great pictures and descriptions. There are some great examples of restorations that go beyond showroom quality. We are especially fond of the 1977 Silver Jubilee edition.

Global compositionWith four contributors, including Neils jansen, this book of 160 pages and published in 1979 gives an excellent global overview of trucking.
The book is divided up into; Britain, North America, Australia, Western europe, Eastern europe, The Middle East, Africa, and latin America, Latin America. Eastern Europe is divided further into seven chapters, each chapter dedicated to one or two countries.

There is also a chapter entitled 'The Truck Hobby'
The book is a mix of colour and black and white photos, none of which appear to have been lifted from truck brochures. This makes the book refreshing and all the more interesting. The text appears to be reasonably accurate.

Personal opinionOverall, I thought that this book was pretty factual and well written. I would like to know if there is going to be a sequel because I am very interested in purchasing another book that details the tractors from the year 1960 and beyond.
