This book is a wonderfully illustrated strorybook set. I've read many different versions of the Nutcracker story, but this is better and more magical because the pictures make all the characters come to life. What's unique about this is that it has 24 little story books in one big cardboard stage. Each book has a number on it, indicating the date you should read the small part of the story on. The illustrator, Nan Brooks, has a different and unique style of drawing. I definitely recommend this book to anyone that likes the Nutcracker story and the magic of Christmas.

I know this is a great book for children as well as all of Edward Packard's choose your own adventure books I shpuld know i've read almost every one.

Every day before napping and bedtime, my 18-month old son always picks this book for us to read together. As we read through each page, he loves to point out all of the characters and what each is doing. This is an excellent companion to the Little People Fire Truck and helps explain to small children what a fire truck is for and what firefighters do. Another reading favorite is (Fisher Price) Bob's Bob's Shiny Dump Truck.

This book is a very practical and valuable book on performance tuning of HP 3000 systems. The author (Rober Lund) has been working with HP 3000 systems for 12 or so years and has supported, consulted and managed thousands of HP 3000s. He really knows his stuff. His company (Lund Solutions) also makes a tool that we used on our performance benchmark project. The book references the tool (HP 3000 SOS Performance Advisor & Gallery) and makes it very easy to ascertain the perfomrance bottlenecks of your HP 3000 systems (both Classic as well as PA RISC machines).

...I am an IBM employee. I still thought the book was very good and was very valuable during our performance testing and benchmarking effort of and HP 3000 system. I had no experience with the HP 3000 Operation System before.

An exciting book in which you, yes YOU, the reader, choose what happens next in the story! Easily read and simple text matter for young adults.

Excellent book, well written in easy to understand language.
This book makes an excellent desktop reference for the computer technician.
I like how Tom Sheldon divides the different areas of upgrading a computer into parts and chapters,each chapter begins with an overview and ends with a summary. Instead of wading through pages of material,you can go to the specific chapter that you need.
Also I like how Tom Sheldon includes lots of illustrations,step by step instructions,and online resources to save you hours of research. To top it off,he even includes a web address for updates to the book.
If you're an HP owner and want to upgrade or just know more about your computer then this book is all you need.

I wouldn't like vampires anywhere, and I would be really scared if a vampire would be real. It isn't good to have them on a spaceship. I would hate to be taken to the vampire planet and be held prisoner. Good idea to be still in the spaceship when vampires are there.

I liked this book because it had a lot of action and the endings in it were far out! I think this author did a great job on the book. The only thing that I didn't like is that it never told how the mutant ants got to Florida but besides that, it was pretty good. My favorite part was the first time you see a spider ant. In the book I flipped the page and I watched it for a little while and all it did was eat grubs, and I thought it was going to attack me! I would recommend this book to anybody who likes action and a lot of people getting eaten. That's my review for this book.

My 4 year old loves this book. It's very cute and he loves to learn new words so he can color in a star in the back of the book. I am going to order more Fisher Price All-Star Readers.
