I bought this book in 1992 and have read it many times since.

With probing essays from Moretti and Pininfarina, and beautifully reproduced photos and original Ferrari design documents, this is THE Ferrari book to own.

Every time you crack open the cover, your passion will be renewed.

"Pininfarina", the name itself means excellence in automotive design. The book is full of beautiful color photographs of their designs of Ferraris, Alfa Romeos, Lancias, Peugeots, Fiats, and more, including costom built, and concept cars. This book is amoung the best car books I have ever read,and recommend it to any automotive enthusiast.

Attention to materials, shapes, colours and details. That's Pininfarina's Genius. The well-known Italian designer celebrates seventy years of his creativity. From 1930 to 2000, he presents his luxurious masterpieces. A book to be read, a book to be dreamt.

Very good book, pricy but worth it, shows all of the history of the Pininfarina company and person, it also includes pictures and information on almost all of the cars he has designed, highly reccomended

If you are looking for a pictoral chronology of Pininfarina's relationship with Ferrari, this book will cover the basics. Not much info. about the company or design work that goes on at Pininfarina-even though the title suggests it. Unfortunately, most of the pictures aren't real photos, but profile drawings instead. A little disappointing.

There should be a law that reads "No book shall be published on Ferrari cars that contains ANY black and white pictures. Violation of this law is punishable by life in federal prison without the possibility of parole." This book has nothing but black and white pictures of decades of great Ferrari's. That is a crime. Ferrari cars should only be displayed in color and the manufacturer should not permit black and white pictures to make it to public view. The book is loaded with pictures of every Ferrari. The authors took the time to maximize the size of the pictures with useful information. If they had trusted that us Ferrari enthusiasts would gladly pay many times more for the book for them to put these very black and white pictures in color, this would be a 5 star book without question. But they did not and I am deeply dissapointed. This is a book that could have impressed with pictures, that if in color, would have been a gold mine to have.
