I like this book, and that is my opinion. You can think what you want to but I am an avid Racing Fan/Dale Jr. fan and I think this book is perfect for anyone!

As a HUGE Earnhardt fan. I would have to say that I liked this book. It brought back so many memories of Dale and how he was on and off track. If you have not read this book, I suggest you pick it up and take the time to learn more about the GREATEST LEGEND IN HISTORY.

In life when you attempt something 129 time before you're victorious, most people would give up. Dale Jarrett started 129 races before winning his first race and today he ranks fourth on the all-time money list with over $21 million in earnings.

These are but a few of the things you'll find in this book. You'll also read about his 1999 Winston Cup Championship, his 1993 win in Daytona, his wins in Darlington, Charlotte and Michigan. You'll meet his crew and even get a glimpse of the owner of his team.

An interesting and quick read, this book provides you with a look at a true racing legend. Sports Publishing Inc. has given you another winner in the Racing Superstar Series.

It really gives an intimate look into the history of Darlington's early days, begining with the actual consruction of the track! Tons of vintage photos deplict just how different things were back then. What better guide to have than someone that was THERE through it all. Kirkland's photos and stories along with Thompson's writing makes this book a must for any NASCAR fan interested in a comprehensive history lesson on a legedary track.

The photographs are fantastic to show what all is being described in this book. I found the material to be factual and presented in an interesting manner for an elementary student who wishes to write a report on sled dogs or sledogging as a sport. It would also be a good book to learn about sled dogs and their sport. I live in Alaska and follow sled dog activity. I have also written a children's book about a sled dog. The photographs set this book apart from all the others I am familiar with.

This book guides you throught the installation and use of a data logging system. I have read it 3 times and each time, as you get more comfortable with the data, you get more and more out of it. It's written in an easy to understand manner, and is the best book I have found to get a racer started in data logger knowledge and understanding.

Litfin has written a very good book that contains much useful information. Most of the examples in the book are from races at Aqueduct, Belmont, and Saratoga. Litfin also devotes a fair amount of space to the "sheets". If you use Ragozin or Thoro-gragh data, this book is definitely for you. If you play races in New York extensively, this book will give you a greater insight into the three tracks operated by the New York Racing Association.

My daughter loves this book. She is three and we read it all the time. She is learning about racing and enjoys it alot. We even met Kyle Petty and he signed our copy. He calls it "Austin's book" If you like racing and are a Petty fan it is a good book for your collection. I had a very hard time finding it!

One of K.M. Peyton's best, which is saying something. A long and satisfying read, coming-of-age, believable and enthralling. A must for anyone.

This is the book of all books for the thoroughbred lover. None can compare. The text is beautifully written, making you feel you know each animal, and all their quirks.The paintings by Reeves are magnificent, you feel you could reach out and stroke a velvet nose, or caress a silky ear.

I purchsed my copy in 1980 and along side my 1976 copy of Classic Lines these books are my pride and joy.

If you love thoroughbreds, this book is a must, you will thrill every time you read it.
