A book written by a man who admires the true quality of the skills of senna. The book contain details of senna's carrer and personality. This is a must read book for anyone who likes motor sports (F1) and Senna.

The book provides a great amount of beginner information, for someone who has no knowledge of horseracing. Not for the advanced horseplay.

Chuck Senatore's new book on building high performance Mopar B & RB motors is well-written, with excellent tips and advice for the hands-on home builder, or the professional engine builder. His experience with building Mopars, and with helping to develop his company, Muscle Motors, into a respected authority on Mopar engines, is evident throughout. While this is not a step-by-step engine building guide, it provides background for all the decisions that must be made before one begins the building process. Particularly valuable is the discussion on developing a plan and purpose for the motor you want to build, before starting. The only criticism I have of his information is that it seemed he gave short shrift to head porting, and hydraulic cam choices. Though home head porting is one of the hottest, and simplest, mods a competent novice can perform, Mr. Senatore devoted less than a page to the actual process, and recommended the novice leave this job to a machine shop pro. Little more time is spent in the discussion of hydraulic cam choices for hot street performance, even though this is the major growth and interest area for Saturday night street cruisers which see little actual strip action. For the person who is interested in these areas, there are pleaty of information sources elsewhere, and I still believe that this book is a must for any person who is considering building a B/RB motor, regardless of their level of experience. Good job, Mr. Senatore!

Gives exercises that you can do with a horse to soften them up if the horse is just being trained or if they are experience and need to work on the not laying on the bit! Worth the money!

This is a book about the behind the scences happenings at Claiborne Farms in Paris, Kentucky. It is an informative look at the breeding side of Claiborne Farm and tells about the history and some about the past stallions that lived there. It talks about the routine that goes on there and also talks of some of the farms policies for the stallions, mares and employees. There is also a section in the middle which has black and white pictures of famous stallions like Secretariat, Man O' War, Princequillo, Nasrullah, Nearco, Northern Dancer, Nijinsky II, Bold Ruler, Buckpasser, Native Dancer, Mr. Prospector, Alydar, and more. The pictures are half page and include a brief description of the stallions sons and daughters. I rate this book with four stars. I don't know exactly why it wouldn't get five stars, but I don't feel that five would be correct.

I received my long-awaited copy of this book, and I must say I enjoy it very much. This is a coffee table book with numerous beautiful color photographs of the races from the Breeders' Cup inaugural (1984) to the present. The triumphs, the tragedies (for example, Go For Wand's breakdown and death in the 1990 Breeders' Cup Distaff), and the upsets (such as Arcangues' longshot win in the 1993 Classic) are beautifully chronicled in this book.

The only thing preventing me from giving it five stars was that it was a little bit on the skimpy side with regard to the commentary. I always enjoy good commentary as well as beautiful pictures in any oversized book. It is still a worthwhile purchase, however.

After purchasing a RC sailboat, I found this book an excellent guide. The author gives the beginner the information he or she needs to get started, as well as giving some in depth "how-to" details for those considering a model from scratch. It's too bad there isn't more in print on the subject. At least this volume satisfies my needs as a entry level novice. Thanks

An excellent book aimed at the first-time racer. Richard goes through the common problems associated with putting your first race vehicle onto the road/track. Insights into some of the more esoteric tricks used by the professionals will amuse young and old alike.
