This book is tremendously valuable for the coach who is seeking to maximize his/her performance as a coach as well as maximize his/her players' performance. In the major areas of sport psych, the chapter editors have done all the research for you. In most cases they have broken down the information so that the everyday coach can understand at least some of the research results. Don't plan on curling up with this one on a Sunday afternoon though - 900 pages of pretty heavy stuff. Better use this one more as a reference book to solve problems or develop a strategy.

It is rare that one can find a book that so thoroughly covers most of the research topics available in a particular field of study. This book may serve as the starting point for any sport psychology researcher or as a excellent resource for the some of the latest sport psychology research. I recommend this book for anyone who is interested in, or performing research in sport psychology.

This book was very informative and surprisingly insightful. I followed Ms.Hill's career from her early years and was pleasantly surprised that a seemingly small book would contain such scope of well research info on my favorite performer. Well done, she definitely deserves all that hoopla!

My 5-year old just loves watching "Between the Lions" and this book includes all of her favorite characters from the show. It's much more than a coloring book, with fun word games and puzzles for her to solve. I definitely recommend this book for fans of the show!

Winslow Homer's watercolors perfectly complement Thoreau's works. For someone new to Thoreau's poetry, it is an enchanting collection sure to engage, capturing the essence of New England nature, and Transcendentalist philosophy. It is a beautiful tribute to two who were masters of their crafts.

As a teller of tales, Mrs. Dhar shines forth in the same light as possibly W. Somerset Maugham. As a racounteur, her skills are tremendous - the words are like a conversational monologue. The characters are drawn in excellent verbal chiarascuro, in immaculate English, and the humour although quite native, is delighting to all races, I am sure. Her encounters with people have been drawn with remarkable accuracy and the characters come to life with her verbal quill. Kudos on all counts to a great writer and singer, as I remember her myself.

it is worthy reading and it will help us to do our research

It is impossible to find in the original language The History of Bel Canto. It is only available in some Conservatory Library. This History is foundamental to clearly understand the evolution of the several technics of singing through the centuries. Rodolfo Celletti is probably the most reliable living "expert" of lyric voices. By reading his works you can distinguish a real, good operatic voice from trivial and bad voices. Do not miss this text!!

My only regret is that this book was too short. Kudos to the author(s) for a job well done. A must for serious Brooklyn historians and those interested in the history of NY theatre.

This is a facinating review of the testimony of Chico Holiday. It tells of his rise from lounge singing in the Las Vegas Casinos to coming to trust in Jesus Christ. I encourage anyone to read it. Currently, Chico is the head pastor at Calvary Chapel Yorba Linda. This book will really bless you.
