A Life Changing Book!
I read Soaring On Broken Wings over 5 years ago and it is still one of the most life changing books I have ever read.

Kathy takes you through the most painful days of her life, holding nothing of herself back. You will gain an astounding understanding of what it really means to give thanks in all circumstances.

A must read!

Great "help" for overcoming grief
This is a touching story on a parent's struggle with the loss of their son, and is intricately woven with the piece composed by Dale Grotenhuis, "Song of Triumph," which honors God and their son.

It's a story of a family who loses an extremely talented son, and how they find their way through grief by giving the glory to God.

I found it extremely touching, and a powerful story, and recommend it to anyone struggling with the "why" of death.

A must for technical knowledge
This book has all the necessary details for the home mechanic

This book gives details and diagrams of all the mechanical and electrical parts and sub assemblies for the stag!

Being a workshop manual it gives removal and rebuilding instructions but not much detail on problem resolution!

A great autobiography!!
Lech Walesa's autobiography is exceptional. It was great reading about a brave man who did not use violence to turn the tides not also in Poland, but he also was a very important figure in world peace and he was one of the reasons why the cold war ended. The book had a lot of humor which kept me wanting to read more. A must.

INSPIRATIONAL!
"A must read for anyone struggling to make sense of the chaotic and violent world we live in, and searching for a way to maintain their Christian faith or help others to find theirs. This author really lays the concepts of good and evil on the line as they exist in our world and interprets the Bible in a clear, concise manner that anyone can understand!"

Outstanding, inspirational, a leadership essential primer
If you have no other books related to leadership be it civic, military, or business this is the one book you must own. As an officer and a business professional, I have found this to be a powerful tool for "silent leadership" for use as a gift for people with leadership potential (All men & women).

A Time to Heal: Triumph over Cancer, the Therapy of the Future
Published in Paperback by Penguin Uk (June, 1999)
Author: Beata Bishop
Amazon base price: $17.95
Average review score:

A cure for melanoma
Beata Bishop, a British journalist and author, received the dread diagnosis of widespread melanoma, normally a death sentence. Her surgeon offered her no hope for survival, nor did the grim statistics for "the black death" as it is called. Then Beata became aware of a nutritional therapy that was offered in Tijuana, Mexico, the Gerson Therapy. After speaking with several people who had succeeded on this therapy, Beata travelled to Mexico for the Gerson therapy. This book is the story of her odyssey of survival, recovery and rebirth into vibrant health using the natural processes of her own body to heal and defeat the cancer. It also details the psychological healing that accompanies the physical processes of recovery. Bishop is a sensitive, articulate writer, aware of and able to express the feelings of despair, hope and joy that she experienced. This book has been translated into German, Czech and Hungarian, and Bishop now lectures on her therapy, twenty years after her diagnosis of "terminal".

Tomorrow Will Be Better: A True Story of Love and One Family's Triumph over the Horrors of World War II
Published in Hardcover by Harbinger House (December, 1990)
Author: Zdena Kapral
Amazon base price: $19.95
Used price: $2.38
Collectible price: $8.99
Average review score:

True Heroism
The book describes the true story of a Czech family from before World War II, the betrayal of the Allies, the Nazi horror, "liberation " by the Russians, the conversion of the country to communism, escape to India, enduring the bloody revolution of India, and finally safety into Australia. The strength of Zdena throughout this, as well as the countless anonymous strangers that fought the evil, makes this one of the most memorable books made. Unlike many books on the holocaust, the family is not portrayed as "victims", rather as people who combat the surrounding evil in every way possible.
