You are paying, with cash or information, but you are paying and you will be billed one way or another.

I found this book to be very useful. I has great color and B&W photos of the details and clear instructions for repairs. It includes complete engine and outdrive disassembly and assembly. I took my boat to the dealer two times and they still did not get it fixed correctly. I read this manual and did the tune-up and my boat runs super now. Most marine dealers are not interested in repairing older Yamaha stern drives so this manual becomes vital if you want the job done right. I have not found any mistakes or omissions. I give this book 5 stars.

This book is great. I thought I would have trouble finding info on a bike i picked up used but I was wrong. This book has EVERYTHING you need to know and even a few extra tips.

Clymer is the name in repair manuals for motorcycles. This particular manual is well written and covers every component and system on the XS-750/850 motorcycles.

Very decently set up book with tremendously clear photographs of all the stuff you want to see. Especially when working with difficult parts it's very nice to be sure what you're doing. A real recommendation, this book, for everyone who enjoys keeping their Triple in top shape!

Excellent service, repair, and maintenance manual. It contains useful illustrations, diagrams, tables and detailed installation/removal instructions. The only thing this manual lacks is the OEM part number for each component.

I bought a 1993 Yamaha DT200-R dirt bike and it obviously didn't come with a manual. I heard that Clymer books were detailed and I bought this one, since the WR250 is pretty similar to the DT200.
Except for my bike's gas tank capacity, oil tank capacity and minor modifications, this book described almost every screw and washer I could find. They take the bike down part by part, and put it back together. The book has hints and tips that save you alot of trouble and money. The first thing I did to my bike was maitenance, and the chapters are divided into intuitive sections. Of course, the easiest way of understanding is by diagrams, and the book is full of detailed sketches. The only problem I had, I think, was telling the difference between an oil fouled spark plug, and a carbon fouled plug. The pictures are in Black and White!!!
When I trade my bike in for a Honda 600, I think I'll by a Clymer book.

I got this book thinking that it would help me with my virago. Only with great pain did I find what I was looking for. The index doesn't match the contents of the book ie look up starter clutch and the pages take you to connecting rods. All over the book it says to refer to chapter ten on how to properly bleed the breaks, only it's not in the book!!! I will use this book till I get one from someone else and then use it for starting the fireplace.

Most of the the time the book was easy to use, but at times was a little confusing. I am an experieced mechanic and I feel that someone with little mechanical experience might get lost in the technical descriptions. The index and table of contents could be better laid out as well. Occasionally the pictures were of very little help when actually looking for certain parts, they need to be clearer. But otherwise the book does what it is supposed to do. It is good help when getting into an unfamiliar engine.

I'm not very mechanically inclined. Yet when I went to do some major overhauling of my bike, this manual became an invaluable source.

The book is quite extensive and well written, simple to understand and to follow, I think that it's well worth it's price. It's being about two models at the same time is a bit confusing at times, but not too bad. Delivery was fast and reliable.

I think that this book is a great book for the person wanting to learn and know more about Yamaha dirtbikes. I like it because it talks specifically about each size bike and shows you general rules of thumb on fixing and repairing your bike. Clymers book also shows you the aspects of riding. I would defenitely get this book. IT is worth the money.
