If you're a person like me who does D.I.Y. installations and repairs for your vehicles then this book could be for you. Clymer did a great job outlining not only how to fix just about anything on the Banshee, but how to keep things in tip-top shape. It also describes all of the parts and has pictures for each. There are tables showing all of the specifications of the Banshee.

The reason I gave it 4 stars and not 5 is that some of the pictures would be seen better (such as small pieces) in detail with color... The book is black and white.

However, Clymer did a great job & even a novice can now repair and maintain his Banshee with help from this 400 page manual!.

Cool book, hard to put down once you get started. I found it to be thought provoking and amusing. Kathy's writing was great and you felt that you were right there with her at times. I won't give away the source of the source of the tile, which is revealed near the end of the book, but I found it to be very appropriate. Two thumbs up, especially from a fellow Yamaha rider.

The technical aspects of the book are quite good. there is, however, a glaring mistake on pp148 fig.13. The electrical circuit just will not work! The porting information is quite good. It does deliver the performance I expected.

If you own a yamaha 3 wheeler, then this book is for you. I own a YTZ 250 and this manual has come in handy. It covers everything from routine matinence to comlete engine rebuild. It includes wiring diagrams and pictures of each component being repaired or replaced. The models that are covered by this manual are YT 60, YT 125, YT 175, YTM 200, YFM 200, YTM 225, AND YTZ 250 made from 1980 to 1985.

I personally found this book very detailed and helpful. It covers, as the author declared, three Yam models. I purchased it because I own a 1998 TDM. Unfortunately every example, photo or detail is explained based on early models, I mean 91 to 95. Atention TDM 850 owners: you'll find no photo or graphic of later-than-95 models there. Apart from that it is very recommendable, since it shows you even the slightest detail in repairing and mantaining those bikes.

Even though I would consider myself an intermediate motorcycle mechanic, Clymer books continually amaze me how easy they make the most difficult job. I had to replace the head gasket on this bike and the whole job (including timing chain replacement) took less than 4 hours ! Without this book, I really would have been in a jam with the valve timing, but Clymer told you all the tips and tricks needed. I strongly recommend this book for novice/beginners who want to make repairs.

I am a Virago 400 owner from Hong Kong, from the very first beginning, I was so impressed there is a service and repair manual for the YAHAMA XV V-Twins 81-96. I bought and just received this book 1 week ago. Unfortunately, when i have a look in the last page of this book, i was so disappointed since the book only cover the XV models with capacity from 535c.c (XV535) to 1063c.c. (XV1100) only. Since this information didn't exist in the buying information of this book, owner of XV250 and 400 will not have any ideas on this book - whether it covers the mentioned range of XV series or not at least. That's why I rate this book 4 stars. However, owner of Virago 400 (XV 400) can also make use of this book, since the layout of the machanic and electronic parts - what i means and was told before is the XV 535 is more or less the same with XV 400. It is not a matter for a owner of XV400 to carry out routine maintenence and servicing based on the informations provided in this book (sections of XV 535). Meanwhile, i would like to suggest owners of XV400 to consult the authorized dealer for specific information including the bore diameter of the cylinders, compression ratio, torque specifications of individual bolts and nuts, model of carburetor used and its vaccum value - if they really want to overhaul the mentioned parts by their own. After all, this book is however useful because of its adequate illustrations (indeed I would like to rate this book 4 and a half stars) which give you confidence to carry out the works and enjoy it. But it is not a good idea for a XV250 owner to buy this book anyway.

My 1998 Yamaha Blaster broke down, and I didn't want to pay a dealership to fix it. It was going to cost me about three hundred dollars to fix. My dad and I are really into fixing our toys, so we decided to fix it ourselves. We couldn't find anything wrong with it ourselves, so I decided to buy the repair manual off of Amazon. We got the book in 3 days, and began immediately fixing my ATV. I was so excited that the book gave all the wiring diagrams and the specs on anything I wanted to know. I'm glad I used Amazon to get the book I needed, and in such a short time.

This manual supplied all the technical information and specs necessary to assist me in replacing the pistons in my PWC's engine. It provides easy to follow directions and illustrations for most repairs and maintenance that PWCs require.
